A clearer way to keep Pegasus ready

Pegasus Tools 5.5 introduces a refreshed update experience alongside improvements to device connection and servicing. The focus is on making it easier to understand what the tool is doing, what it needs next and when it is ready for you to continue.

New

  • A dedicated update panel. Follow update progress in one place, with distinct states for waiting, downloading, ready to install and completion. If an update encounters a problem, the panel makes that state easier to recognize.
  • More focused component updates. Pegasus can deliver its application and supporting resources as separate update components. This provides a clearer view of which parts of your installation need attention.

Improved

  • Samsung MediaTek connection handling. Connection and reconnection steps have been refined in the supported service flows, including preparation before a device operation begins.
  • Service preparation and recovery. Supported repair operations have more consistent handling of the information needed before and after the service step, helping keep the sequence easier to follow.
  • Samsung Download mode services. Reading and writing steps have been refined in the affected service operations, with clearer handling of the device response during the operation.
  • Operation selection. Service options, model selection and Qualcomm connection-file selection have been organized to make the next action easier to identify.

Fixed

  • Clearer messages when a required resource is unavailable. A preparation problem is easier to distinguish from a device-operation failure, so you can address the missing requirement before retrying.
  • More consistent update feedback. Progress and completion states are presented through the refreshed update interface rather than leaving you to interpret disconnected notifications.
