More reliable LG servicing and clearer connection guidance

Refined LG connection and unlock flows, improved Unisoc connection detection, and clearer guidance when preparing Samsung devices or resolving USB setup problems.

A clearer start to supported device servicing

Pegasus Tools 6.9 focuses on the steps that happen before and during a service operation: finding the appropriate device connection, checking that the phone is ready, and showing a useful result when preparation cannot complete. This release refines existing LG, Samsung and Unisoc workflows, with particular attention to LG connection selection and network unlocking.

Improved

  • More accurate LG MediaTek connection selection. Windows can expose more than one connection for the same LG phone. Pegasus now distinguishes the connection needed for the affected MediaTek service flow from the separate modem connection more carefully. The same selection rules are applied when choosing a detected connection and when reusing one from an earlier step, helping avoid starting the operation through an unsuitable interface.
  • A revised LG network unlock flow. The affected flow for supported LM-X210 devices now follows a more consistent preparation, device-data check and unlock sequence. If the device-data check does not identify a supported response, the flow reports that state before continuing with the unlock steps. Connection, preparation and service progress remain visible in the operation log.
  • Additional Unisoc connection detection. The affected service flows can check further Unisoc connections when the earlier connection paths have not selected a usable one. Pegasus checks for a response before accepting a candidate and can continue to another connection when a candidate does not answer. This refines the connection stage of existing Unisoc services.
  • Clearer Samsung readiness prompts. When the affected operation needs to enable diagnostic access, Pegasus checks that the phone screen is on and unlocked. If it is not ready, the tool asks you to unlock it and checks again after you confirm. You can cancel at this stage. If diagnostic mode is already enabled, Pegasus skips the repeated activation step.
  • More informative Unisoc VoLTE progress. The affected VoLTE flow now shows the selected connection in its operation log, making it easier to identify which connection Pegasus is using.

Fixed

  • USB setup failures being reported inaccurately. The affected USB driver setup now uses the actual setup result and retains failure information more consistently. A completed setup does not need to print a message to be recognized as completed, and an unsuccessful attempt is not treated as successful simply because another message was produced.
  • Missing context when USB access remains unavailable. When the device is still unavailable after an automatic setup attempt, the connection message can include the relevant setup error. This helps distinguish a setup problem from a phone that has not exposed the required connection.
  • USB setup attempts exceeding their time limit. The affected setup attempt is stopped when it exceeds its allotted time and Pegasus reports that outcome, making a setup timeout easier to identify before retrying.
  • Samsung preparation proceeding after an unsuccessful result. The affected Open Diag action now follows the preparation result. If you cancel, screen readiness cannot be verified, or the required preparation cannot complete, that action stops instead of continuing through the previous fallback.

Updated

  • Workspace mode selection in Settings. The default workspace mode selector is unavailable and remains labelled Coming soon. The setting no longer appears selectable while workspace mode switching is unavailable.

When this update matters

This release is relevant if an LG service selected the wrong connection, the affected LM-X210 unlock flow stopped during preparation, an existing Unisoc service did not find a responsive connection, or a Samsung service needed clearer instructions before diagnostic preparation. It is also useful when an automatic USB setup attempt fails and you need a clearer indication of what to check next.

After updating, reconnect the device and follow any readiness instructions shown by Pegasus before retrying the affected operation. Model, software and operation requirements still determine which service path is available for the connected device.

More reliable MediaTek sessions and clearer device readiness

Refined MediaTek connection and transfer handling, clearer ADB permission feedback and more focused application-resource repair.

Know when the device is ready, and when a step needs attention

Pegasus Tools 6.8 focuses on the reliability of the existing connection and service experience. MediaTek startup and transfers receive follow-up corrections, ADB readiness is reported more accurately, and application-resource repair is more focused when a supporting library needs attention.

Improved

  • MediaTek connection startup. Initial communication and waiting for the device have been refined in the affected flows, including handling of delayed or incomplete responses.
  • Compatibility in the affected LG and older MediaTek flows. Device identification and preparation checks have been adjusted to better reflect the information the connected device can provide.
  • Read, write and transfer handling. The affected operations handle incoming data and device responses more carefully before moving on to the next step.
  • More focused application repair. When the affected supporting library needs repair, Pegasus targets that resource rather than requiring unrelated application components to be repaired with it.

Fixed

  • ADB shown as ready without permission to continue. If the device does not allow the required access, Pegasus reports the permission problem instead of presenting a misleading ready state.
  • Continuing after an unsuccessful MediaTek preparation step. The affected flow stops when the device response does not confirm that preparation has completed or when the connection has been lost.
  • Requests unsupported by older chips. Preparation avoids requesting information that the affected older MediaTek devices do not provide, reducing avoidable interruptions in that connection path.
  • Storage and partition information. Corrections address the interpretation and checking of storage details used by the affected service operations, including handling incomplete information before it is used.
  • Incomplete responses and restart results. The affected flows check device responses and the outcome of a restart more carefully, rather than treating an unfinished step as an ordinary success.
  • Security-backup selection. Follow-up refinements improve selection of the appropriate saved backup in the affected restoration flow.

When this update matters

This release is relevant if a supported MediaTek operation previously stopped during connection or transfer, if an ADB device appeared ready while access was denied, or if Pegasus asked you to repair a supporting resource. It improves the existing supported service paths; the model and operation shown in the application remain the guide to the work available for your device.

Easier Qualcomm preparation and less repeated setup

Find the appropriate Qualcomm connection file more easily, reuse matching backups and downloads, and follow refined Samsung and Relock workflows.

Spend less time repeating preparation

Pegasus Tools 6.7 refines the choices and resources used before a service begins. Qualcomm file selection is brought into a clearer experience, matching security backups and verified downloads can be reused, and several existing Samsung and connection flows receive follow-up fixes.

Improved

  • One place to choose a Qualcomm connection file. The selection experience brings together compatible choices, brand and model selection, search and a local-file option. You can cancel or retry preparation within the same flow when needed.
  • Reuse a matching security backup. Pegasus can locate a suitable existing backup from the available saved locations before creating another one. Matching takes the device model and serial number into account, so the selection remains tied to the device being serviced.
  • Keep usable downloads after updating Pegasus. Resources that still match the required file can be reused after an application update, avoiding an unnecessary download of the same file. File checks remain part of preparation.
  • Clearer Relock choices. Network and SIM selections, together with the available presets, have been refined to make the operation settings easier to review before starting.
  • Samsung Download mode communication. Transfer and session-completion handling have been refined in the affected services, giving the tool a more consistent basis for reporting the result.

Fixed

  • Devices restarting during an ADB operation. Pegasus handles the expected disconnection during a restart more consistently, rather than treating it in the same way as an unexpected connection problem.
  • Partition-related service steps. Follow-up corrections improve how the affected operations read and use partition information and identify the intended write location.
  • Finishing Samsung service sessions. Corrections improve the handling of the device response and the end of the affected Download mode operations.
  • Application stability. Additional corrections address consistency in the distributed application.

When this update matters

The update is useful when preparing Qualcomm services, repeating work on the same device, returning after an application update or using the affected Samsung and Relock operations. Existing backup reuse is device-specific; it is not a reason to use another phone's security backup.

A more complete MediaTek workspace and a clearer Pega AI experience

Expanded MediaTek preparation, a refreshed Pega AI experience, more resilient downloads and clearer backup and service feedback.

Bring more of your service work into one workspace

Pegasus Tools 6.6 brings a broad set of improvements to MediaTek servicing, Pega AI, downloads and account pages. The release focuses on preparing the right resources for a device, keeping operation progress understandable and making the surrounding application easier to use during your work.

New

  • MediaTek SV6 profile selection. Select the relevant brand and model profile within the MediaTek workspace. Pegasus uses the detected device information when preparing the resources required for the selected supported operation.
  • A refreshed META connection experience. META connection and device-information handling are integrated into the MediaTek workspace, with a more consistent session and operation log. The scope of this update is connection and identification improvements for the supported flows.

Improved

  • Pega AI conversations. Responses, conversation state and interrupted replies are handled more consistently, making it easier to follow an exchange and understand when a response has not completed.
  • Clearer Pega AI actions. Steps, confirmations and input requests are presented more clearly alongside the conversation. Text layout and reading direction have also been refined, with visual feedback that better reflects the assistant's current state.
  • Device-specific MediaTek preparation. Resources are selected after the device information is available, helping keep preparation aligned with the detected device and selected operation.
  • Downloads that can resume. Interrupted downloads can resume, and downloaded resources are checked before use. Download handling also keeps account resources associated with the correct signed-in account.
  • Security backup and restore. Preparation, backup selection and restoration from supported backup archives have been refined, with clearer handling when a required step cannot be completed.
  • More responsive account pages. Sign-in preparation, verification-code steps and account-page loading have been refined. Repeated loading requests are coordinated, and older page results are prevented from replacing more recent account information.
  • Clearer model and operation information. Device support is presented around the selected model and operation, making requirements and relevant limitations easier to understand before starting.

Fixed

  • MediaTek read, write and erase progress. Corrections improve progress reporting and completion handling in the affected transfer operations, including work with supported partition and flash-file selections.
  • Cancellation and interrupted operations. A cancelled or incomplete operation is handled as such rather than being presented as a successful result.
  • Repeated service options. MediaTek service options have been brought into a more consistent workspace so the relevant choices are easier to find.

When this update matters

This release is especially relevant if your work includes supported MediaTek devices, resource downloads, security backups or Pega AI guidance. Choose the model and operation available in Pegasus to see the service supported for the phone in front of you; the new workspace does not mean every META operation is available on every device.

Follow-up maintenance for device servicing

A maintenance update following the device-detection and connection improvements in the 6.4 release period.

Continued maintenance of the service experience

Pegasus Tools 6.5 is a follow-up maintenance release within the same release period as 6.4. It keeps the focus on corrections to the existing application and service experience.

Clearer device matching and connection feedback

Improved Auto Mode device matching, refinements to Samsung service connections and clearer feedback when a Qualcomm connection is busy.

A clearer view of the phone you are servicing

Pegasus Tools 6.4 improves how the application recognizes connected devices and manages the connection required by an operation. The focus is on reducing confusion when a phone exposes more than one connection or when a detected connection is not ready for use.

Improved

  • Recognizing one physical phone across its connections. Auto Mode handles the related connections exposed by the same device more consistently, helping keep device identification aligned with the phone you are working on.
  • Device connection changes. Detection and identification have been refined as the phone disconnects, reconnects or changes its connection state during preparation.
  • Samsung service connections. The affected upload and Download mode service steps have more consistent preparation, waiting and connection handling.

Fixed

  • Waiting on a busy Qualcomm connection. A connection that is detected but unavailable no longer leaves the affected preparation step waiting without a clear limit.
  • Connection-failure feedback. When the connection cannot be opened for the operation, the tool reports that problem more clearly so you can check the device state before retrying.

When this update matters

These changes are useful when Auto Mode detects several connections for a phone, when a device changes mode during preparation or when an operation cannot use a connection that appears to be present.

Refined Samsung Download and MediaTek service flows

Follow-up improvements to Samsung Download mode, supported MediaTek connection steps and operation feedback.

More consistent handling through the service sequence

Pegasus Tools 6.3 refines the affected Samsung Download mode and MediaTek service flows. The changes focus on the sequence of connecting, carrying out the operation and reporting the result.

A more consistent start to your session

Pegasus Tools 6.2 improves the way update checks fit into signing in and preparing the application. It also includes the connection-preparation refinements for supported Qualcomm operations in the main application release.

Improved

  • Update checks after sign-in. The update process is coordinated more consistently with account sign-in and application preparation, helping Pegasus reach the appropriate update state as your session starts.
  • Cancellation during update preparation. Cancelled checks are handled more consistently so that an interrupted check does not continue as though it were still active.
  • Qualcomm connection preparation. The tool checks the service connection during the initial device transition before deciding whether preparation was unsuccessful.

Fixed

  • Starting an update check. Corrections address the way the application begins its update check, improving consistency when preparing the update experience.
  • Early Qualcomm failure feedback. The affected flow checks whether the expected connection is available before presenting a preparation failure.

When this update matters

This release is relevant when signing in to an older installation, checking for updates or preparing a supported Qualcomm service. Complete the updates shown by Pegasus before returning to your device operation.

More consistent Qualcomm connection preparation

Refinements to the connection checks used while preparing supported Qualcomm service operations.

A clearer connection result before servicing

Pegasus Tools 6.1 focuses on connection preparation for supported Qualcomm operations. The affected flow checks the device connection more carefully while moving from initial detection into the servicing stage.

Improved

  • Connection checks during preparation. Pegasus checks whether the device has reached the next stage before deciding that preparation has failed.
  • Handling delayed device responses. The affected flow gives a more considered result when the phone takes time to respond during the transition into servicing.

Fixed

  • Premature connection-failure feedback. The operation avoids reporting a preparation failure before checking whether the expected service connection is already available.

When this update matters

These refinements are relevant if a supported Qualcomm operation previously stopped during its initial connection steps even though the phone had moved into the required service state. The update concerns that preparation sequence; the selected model and operation still determine the service available to the device.

Follow-up maintenance for the 6.0 release

A focused maintenance update within the transition to Pegasus Tools 6.0.

A maintenance-focused update

Pegasus Tools 6.0 is a follow-up maintenance release. Its scope is corrections and stability work within the existing Pegasus experience.

Updated

  • Application maintenance. This release continues the correction work around the preceding releases and keeps the focus on the existing service experience.

What this means for your work

Continue to use the model, connection mode and operation shown in Pegasus for the device you are servicing. The release is presented as a maintenance update; it does not announce a separate new service or an expanded device-support list.

  • Connection-state feedback. Changes in the detected device state are handled more consistently while you are choosing or preparing an operation.

Fixed

  • Requests that require a newer Pegasus version. When a service requires a newer application, the tool handles that requirement more clearly so you know to update before retrying.
  • Closing the application after device work. Follow-up cleanup improves how the application finishes its active device-related work when closing.

When this update matters

The changes are most relevant when using Auto Mode to begin a service or when checking which operation is available for a connected phone. They refine detection and selection within the existing supported workflows.

More dependable QCN backups and clearer operation availability

Refined QCN backup and restore checks, with clearer guidance when a service is supported, unavailable or needs more device information.

Better checks before and during QCN operations

Pegasus Tools 5.8 improves the existing QCN backup and restore experience and makes operation availability easier to understand. The changes help distinguish a missing requirement from an unsupported operation and improve feedback when a backup or restore cannot be completed.

Improved

  • QCN backup and restore preparation. Pegasus performs more consistent checks on the selected connection and the resources required by the operation before proceeding.
  • Backup output checks. The affected backup flow checks its output rather than treating the end of the operation alone as evidence that a usable backup was created.
  • Clearer operation availability. Support information more clearly distinguishes an available operation, an unsupported operation and an operation that needs additional device details before it can be evaluated.

Fixed

  • Missing requirements during QCN operations. Problems with a required resource or an unsuitable connection are identified more clearly, giving you a more useful starting point before another attempt.
  • Incomplete backup results. An incomplete result is handled as a problem that needs attention rather than being presented as an ordinary completed backup.

When this update matters

This release is especially relevant if you use QCN backup or restore on supported devices, or if you previously found it difficult to tell why an operation was unavailable. Follow the status shown for the selected model and connection before starting the service.

Refreshed supporting resources for Pegasus 5.7

An update to the supporting resources used by Pegasus, delivered alongside the existing 5.7 application.

Keeping supporting resources up to date

This Pegasus Tools 5.7 update refreshes the supporting-resource package used by the application. It is a resource update within the 5.7 release series, so the application continues to show the same version number.

Updated

  • Supporting resources. The resource package has been refreshed with updated items for use by the existing application.
