Pegasus Tools 5.8 improves the existing QCN backup and restore experience and makes operation availability easier to understand. The changes help distinguish a missing requirement from an unsupported operation and improve feedback when a backup or restore cannot be completed.

• Backup output checks. The affected backup flow checks its output rather than treating the end of the operation alone as evidence that a usable backup was created.
• Clearer operation availability. Support information more clearly distinguishes an available operation, an unsupported operation and an operation that needs additional device details before it can be evaluated.
